My name is Martin Klein, I play and teach the saxophone and organise jazzworkshops.
It's my opinion that jazz lessons should be more than just learning to play your instrument. In addition to saxophone lessons and instruction in blowing technique, I also teach improvisation, swing, and jazz theory. All lessons take into account that not everyone aims to become a professional musician and that practice time often competes with work and other commitments.
The lessons last for one hour and cost 40 euros, including mp3's for practicing. You can schedule a trial lesson for 20 euros to get acquainted.
The location is easily accessible by car from Heerhugowaard, Heiloo, Alkmaar, Schoorl, Egmond, and Castricum, and parking is free. Also bus 166 from Alkmaar Station stops at a 9-minute walking distance (stop named 'Natteweg') or a 10-minute walk from the terminus (stop named 'Bergen Plein').
